In solidarity
We crave equality
Where is the quality
Of our behaviour
No failure
In creating a better world
Making it happen
One by one
The oppression will end
You will see, soon
It’s unfair
It’s unjust
Why must
We fight
It should be our right
To live as we are
Without the need to defend
We have come so far
But there’s more to comprehend
It is us
Also them
Let’s discuss
Up to ten
Fix the parts that are broken
Although they never were whole
As we start to be outspoken
We will take back what they stole
This ain’t war
It’s peace we seek
Don’t ignore
The words we speak
It’s not easy but it’s true
There are ways to break through
Finding meaning in our cause
We aren’t doing this for applause
How can we be equal
When the world manipulates
We must gather our free will
Because society still discriminates
The sun is setting
On ignorance
They are letting
Our difference
Cloud their judgement
And give them excuses
We’re the same
Although unique
Where’s their shame
When their views we critique
It’s been time
Already for ages
Bigotry is a crime
Even outside law’s pages
This must stop
Prejudice will drop
No matter our qualities
We have policies
They’re against sexism,
Racism,
Speciesism,
And all that’s unjust
So let’s just
Come together
And fix this system
Give women their rights
And children their mights
Nevermind their sexuality
Or their ethnicity
We’re against kyriarchy
This battle opposes immorality.
