Rachael House
Rachael House is an artist who makes events, objects, performances, drawings and zines. She has recently made projects for Arnolfini and Supernormal and facilitated zine making at Hastings Cartoon Festival and with The Feminist Library at Tate Modern, exhibited at House of Illustration, University of Kent, Peckham Platform, Murray Edwards College with a solo exhibition alongside New Hall Women’s Art Collection and in Inking Women, Cartoon Museum, London. Rachael House’s Feminist Disco- putting the ‘disco’ into ‘discourse’, was commissioned by A Woman’s Place in November 2017, for University of Sussex, and has also taken place in art galleries, community centres and festivals, including Bent Fest queer punk festival. In 2018 Rachael House has been part of 3×3 at New Art Projects, exhibited with The Wild Angelicas and The Feminist Library at HilbertRaum, Berlin and in May she has a solo exhibition, Cocksure, at Intercession Gallery, Northampton.
